i would recomend a honda s2000
You need to shop around the dealers of the car that you mostly like..don’t tell them you have a 60,000 budget. Also check JD Powers website for quality and mechanics ratings.
ewwww no corvettes. Seriously with 60k you can get a damn quick audi or bmw no problems. Heck with that money you can get a pre-owned lotus. Nothing says original and fast like a lotus.
Or just get an AWD Subaru WRX Sti.
Go for the Mustang Shelby KT-500. It is worth it, has over 500 bhp and it is made by the Legendary Carroll Shelby. If you don’t like that, then go for the 09 Chevy Camaro or the New 6.1 liter Dodge Hemi Challenger when it debuts in 09 also. Supposed to have over 500 bhp also. The return of good ole american Muscle cars. Yeah!!!!
You can get a fully loaded bmw 335xi coupe for under 60k. That would probably be the best bang for your buck.
let me add, that you can geeta mighty fast porsche 911 for that, and consider a turbo’d unit as well.
all said, the WRX STi is a ton of bang for the buck, and it’ll leave you alot of pocket change, to either keep and invest, or add some smart modifications.
are you wanting a practical car? or a fun car that shows all the glitz? I sell cars for a living……thats a very important question for you to think about……A smart daily driver that you can enjoy, or a flash and bang car that will get into your wallet with expensive maintenance costs.
good luck.
Go for the bmw m5, audi s5, wait till 09 and get the new nissan skyline, an acura tl type-s, saab 9-5 areo, a used viper with low miles-(these have big *** engines, v-10), or go old school wit a 60′s- 70′s muscle car.
